1 Person Dead in Houston Multi-Vehicle Accident on FM 2920 near Covington Bridge Drive

HOUSTON, TX (January 9, 2024) – On Monday, a horrific traffic crash on FM 2920 near Covington Bridge Drive killed one person.

Reports revealed that the incident happened in the 3050 block of FM 2920 Road near Covington Bridge Drive.

According to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, the incident involved multiple vehicles. Then, a westbound 18-wheeler attempted to avoid the crash, jumped into the median into oncoming traffic lanes where it struck a vehicle head-on.

Moreover, responders pronounced the female driver of the vehicle that was struck by the truck, dead at the scene.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office continued to investigate the crash.
