According to the Rocklin Police Department (RPD), the injury collision happened at about 8:10 a.m. at the intersection of Stanford Ranch Road and Breen Drive.

Reports say that a boy riding an E-Bike to school was hit by a car.

The Rocklin Police Department advised drivers to avoid the area after the incident.

In addition, another vehicle was involved in a rear-end collision nearby. Officials say that a grey car sustained significant front-end damage.

The Rocklin Unified School District confirmed that the injured boy is a Granite Oaks Middle School student.

Authorities say that the boy sustained moderate but non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver was unharmed.

Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. The road was fully reopened by 9:11 a.m.
