Girl Dead in Waco Vehicle Crash on South 17th Street and Clay Avenue
WACO, TX (May 20, 2203) – Thursday afternoon, a horrific traffic accident on South 17th Street and Clay Avenue killed one person.
The incident happened at around 4:19 p.m. on northbound South 17th Street and Clay Avenue.
According to reports, an eastbound four-door Lumina ran a red light and collided with two northbound vehicles. Then, the force of the crash ejected an occupant of the Lumina into the roadway.
Moreover, witnesses at the scene extricated the 3-year-old girl who was trapped under the wreckage. Then, Good Samaritans performed life-saving measures before the victim was transported to a hospital. Authorities said that the young victim, a 3-year-old, succumbed to injuries and was later pronounced dead.
Furthermore, officers withheld the identity of the deceased due to her age.
