GLENN COUNTY, CA (May 17, 2023) – On Tuesday, a horrific traffic accident on Highway 162 near Cherry Street injures two people.

The incident happened on Highway 162 near Cherry Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Cadillac SRX veered to the south side of the roadway for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle driver over-corrected, lost control, and collided with a Honda CR-V.

Moreover, paramedics transported two occupants of the Cadillac, a woman to Enloe Medical Center while a child was airlifted to UC Davis.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
