1 Person Dead in San Diego Auto Accident on State Route 94 near Interstate 15

SAN DIEGO, CA (December 24, 2023) – Saturday morning, a horrific single-vehicle crash on State Route 94 near Interstate 15 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 8:50 a.m. on State Route 94 near Interstate 15.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle crashed on the SR-94 ramp towards Interstate 15 for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the driver of the vehicle died in the crash.

Furthermore, the crash closed all lanes of westbound State Route 94, plus northbound Interstate 805 to westbound State Route 94. All lanes have long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, California Highway Patrol continued to investigate the crash.
