FORT WORTH, TX (December 1, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a horrific rollover crash on Southwest Loop 820 killed 1 person.

Reports said that the incident happened when a car overturned and caught fire at about 12:39 p.m. on the 100 block of Southwest Loop 820.

Fort Worth Fire and medical teams responded to the scene and confirmed one passenger was deceased and trapped inside the vehicle.

The Fort Worth Police Department’s traffic unit is currently investigating the cause of the crash. The identity of the deceased passenger has not yet been disclosed.
