Harris County, TX (May 31, 2024) On Thursday morning, a woman inside a stalled vehicle was killed after a rear-end collision on US 290.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal crash happened at about 5:47 a.m. in the 22300 block of U.S. 290 near Telge Road.

Reports say that a pickup truck collided with a stalled vehicle. Officials say that a woman was inside the stalled vehicle when the crash happened.

Authorities say that the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies are investigating the fatal 2-vehicle crash and have not released additional information at this time.
