SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 24, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a horrific police chase crash on 16th Street and Potrero Avenue killed one person.

The incident started at Folsom and Mabini Street when a truck was carjacked by a city worker.

According to reports, officers spotted the stolen truck in the city’s Potrero Hill neighborhood, and a pursuit started. Then, the stolen vehicle collided with an SUV and spun out of control before crashing into a bus top with several pedestrians waiting.
