Camarillo, CA (January 31, 2024) On Tuesday afternoon, a disastrous plane accident on Howard Road near the Camarillo Airport left 2 people hurt.

According to the Ventura County Fire Department (VCFD), the plane crash happened at about 1:35 p.m. on the 100 block of Howard Road.

Reports say that an experimental Rutan Long EZ-style plane crashed in a field about four miles southeast of the Camarillo Airport, near a water treatment facility in a mostly agricultural area.

Officials say that 2 men were transported to the hospital.
