SACRAMENTO, CA (November 17, 2024) – Saturday morning, a horrific pedestrian crash on Watt Avenue near Roseville Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 5:29 a.m. on Watt Avenue, north of Roseville Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a southbound vehicle struck a male pedestrian who was in the middle of the roadway for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim who was in his 20s, to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
