PLANO, TX (June 26, 2023) – Sunday, a horrific pedestrian crash on US Highway 75 and Parker Road killed 1 person.

The Plano Police Department received an initial report of a welfare concern/traffic crash just after midnight. According to reports, multiple vehicles struck and killed a pedestrian on US Highway 75, north of Parker Road.

Officers revealed that the pedestrian tried to cross the highway. At this time, the victim’s identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.

Then, the driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and has been released after being interviewed.

No one suffered any other injuries in the crash.
