CALEXICO, CA (March 10, 2024) – Saturday morning, a horrific pedestrian crash on State Route 111 near Cole Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 4:30 a.m. on northbound State Route 111, north of Cole Road.

According to the Calexico Police, a northbound vehicle struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle pulled over and saw the victim.

Moreover, the Calexico Police and Fire Departments rushed to the scene and pronounced the male victim, dead at the scene.
