BONNE TERRE, MO (August 8, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a horrific pedestrian crash on Missouri Route 47 near Jefferson Avenue killed 1 person.

The crash happened at around 5:45 a.m. when a car struck and killed a pedestrian on Missouri Route 47 near Jefferson Avenue.

According to Cpl. Logan Bolton with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was in the roadway when the crash occurred.

Meanwhile, the EMS personnel declared the pedestrian dead at the scene.
