TEMPLE, TX (November 15, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a horrific pedestrian crash on Interstate 35 near Nugent Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 2:29 a.m. on Interstate 35, near the Nugent Avenue exit.

According to the Temple Police Department, a vehicle struck a female pedestrian who was attempting to cross Interstate 35 on foot.

Moreover, Justice of Peace Cliff Coleman pronounced the victim, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, the crash closed the area but has long since reopened.
