BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 18, 2023) – Monday, a horrific pedestrian crash on Highway 99 and Olive Drive injures 1 person.

The incident happened on southbound Highway 99, just north of Olive Drive at about 4:09 p.m

Initial reports said that a man was down on the center divider of the highway.

Also, the crash shut down the number one lane.

Officers confirmed that the man sustained major injuries after a vehicle hit him.

Also, officers revealed that a grey pickup truck crashed in the area just before 4:10 p.m.
