MADERA COUNTY, CA (December 4, 2023) – Sunday morning, a horrific pedestrian crash on Highway 145 near Avenue 12 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 2:00 a.m. on Highway 145 near Avenue 12.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a car struck a female pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

As a result, the woman succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene.
