DALLAS, TX (April 24, 2024) – Monday night, a 16-year-old boy died in a horrific pedestrian crash on CF Hawn Freeway near Beltline Road.

The incident occurred at about 7:30 p.m. on the westbound service road near Beltline Road.

Meanwhile, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office reported that the driver of a Cadillac SUV veered to avoid stopped traffic, inadvertently striking a boy who was walking along the shoulder of the roadway. Tragically, the teenager was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. His identity has not yet been disclosed.

Law enforcement authorities in Dallas County are actively seeking the driver responsible for the fatal crash involving a motorcycle that occurred early Monday morning.

The driver of the SUV stopped at the scene and fully cooperated with investigators. However, the crash remains under investigation, as stated by the sheriff’s office.
