PHARR, TX (February 21, 2024) – Tuesday night, one person died in a horrific pedestrian crash on 5800 S Cage Boulevard.

The incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. at the 5800 block of S Cage Boulevard.

Reports said that a maroon Nissan Roque struck a male pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Then, medical responders pronounced the 54-year-old male pedestrian, dead within the hour of the crash.

Also, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to render aid.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
