1 Dead in Diamond Bar Pedestrian Accident on 57 Freeway and Pathfinder Road

DIAMOND BAR, CA (June 9, 2024) – Saturday, a horrific pedestrian crash on 57 Freeway and Pathfinder Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened at 4:10 a.m. on the northbound Orange (57) Freeway at the Pathfinder Road exit.

According to reports, the crash transpired when a pedestrian walked in between lanes of the Orange (57) Freeway. Then, the driver of a blue Honda Civic hit the pedestrian.

When the authorities arrived, they located the pedestrian whose identity remained undisclosed. They declared that the victim was dead at the scene.

Also, the CHP issued a SigAlert which closed the Pathfinder on-ramp.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available,  the public will be notified.
