PHOENIX, AZ (October 30, 2023) – Friday night, a horrific pedestrian crash on 32nd Street and Greenway Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened at about 6:20 p.m. when a truck hit a man in an area on 32nd Street north of Greenway Road.

Then, officers located a man who was “unable to be identified.” He was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to injuries.

Meanwhile, police said that the truck driver showed no signs that he had been drinking or on drugs and that he remained at the scene to talk with officers about the collision.

Moreover, witnesses confirmed that the pedestrian was jaywalking on 32nd Street and was struck by the truck.
