1 Dead in San Bernardino Pedestrian Accident on 10 Freeway and San Gabriel Boulevard

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (October 11, 2023) – Monday night, a horrific pedestrian crash on 10 Freeway and San Gabriel Boulevard killed 1 person.

The incident happened at 11:44 p.m. on San Bernardino 10 Freeway and San Gabriel Boulevard on-ramp.

When the CHP officers arrived at the scene, they located the victim, said CHP Officer Sean Lough.

According to reports, a man walking on the freeway was hit by a vehicle.

Then, the Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics declared him dead at the scene. Furthermore, the CHP initiated a SigAlert which shut down two lanes of the eastbound freeway while it investigated the crash.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
