EL CAJON, CA (September 24, 2023) – Friday night, a horrific pedestrian crash near Cuyamaca Street and Weld Boulevard killed 1 person.

The crash occurred at around 10:20 p.m. near Cuyamaca Street and Weld Boulevard.

Reports said that a pickup truck hit an unidentified woman. Then, officers and paramedics located a woman dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the 2016 Toyota Tacoma stopped immediately following the crash and cooperated with the investigation. Also, the authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
