1 Dead in Redding Multi-Vehicle Accident on Airport Road

REDDING, CA (July 16, 2023) – Friday, a horrific multi-vehicle crash on Airport Road killed 1 person.

The authorities received a report of the crash at 11:23 a.m. Moreover, the incident involving a PG&E truck, a gold Cadillac sedan, and a Honda sedan happened on Airport Road.

According to reports, as the gold Cadillac traveled north on Airport Road, it veered to turn into Kent’s Meats parking lot.

Then, the southbound blue PG&E truck on Airport Road struck the passenger door of the Cadillac.

Officers confirmed that the Honda was veering out of the parking lot and sustained minor damage from the crash.

Meanwhile, officers confirmed that the Cadillac passenger succumbed to injuries at the scene.

Also, the crash led to the closure of southbound traffic.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
