1 Person Dead in Apple Valley Motorcycle Accident near Bear Valley Road and Iroquois Road

APPLE VALLEY, CA (November 6, 2024) – Monday afternoon, a horrific motorcycle crash near Bear Valley Road and Iroquois Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 3:52 p.m. near the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Iroquois Road.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Gloria Huerta said that a sedan and a black Harley Davidson motorcycle collided in the area for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle fled the scene after the crash.

Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist, dead at the scene.

Authorities said that officers managed to locate the vehicle a short time later, but the driver fled the scene on foot and remains at large.

The crash closed Bear Valley Road between Kiowa Road and Mockingbird Avenue but has long since reopened.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
