REDWOOD CITY, CA (May 1, 2023) – Late Saturday night, a horrific motorcycle accident on Highway 101 and State Route 92 killed 1 person.

The incident happened at about 11:59 p.m. on Highway 101 and State Route 92.

According to reports, the rider headed north on Highway 101, south of State Route 92. Then, the motorcyclist crashed into a Toyota sedan and sustained fatal injuries.

Responders declared the male rider dead at the scene.

Moreover, the authorities temporarily diverted traffic to State Route 92 until lanes on Highway 101 reopened, CHP spokesperson Art Montiel added.

Meanwhile, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the deceased due to pending family notification.
