LOS ANGELES, CA (November 1, 2023) – Monday night, a horrific hit-and-run crash on Van Nuys Boulevard near Burbank Boulevard killed one person.
The incident happened at around 11:40 p.m. on southbound Van Nuys Boulevard near Burbank Boulevard.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a vehicle struck a bicyclist for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle fled the scene, dragging the victim underneath the vehicle. Also, officers confirmed the victim eventually became dislodged from the bottom of the car while the suspect vehicle, a red Toyota sedan, continued to flee the scene.
Moreover, responders pronounced the bicyclist, a Hispanic man in his 40s, dead at the scene.
