Motorcyclist Lifeless after Horrific Hit-and-Run Crash on State Route 84 in Casa Grande

1 Dead in Casa Grande Motorcycle Accident on State Route 84 near Ethington Road

CASA GRANDE, AZ (April 5, 2023) – Friday afternoon, a motorcyclist was found lifeless after a horrific hit-and-run crash on State Route 84.

The incident happened in the eastbound lane of State Route 84 between Ethington and Burris roads, on the western edge of Casa Grande.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, three passenger vehicles crashed, and the motorcyclist rear-ended those vehicles. The impact ejected the rider into the westbound lane. Moreover, a fifth vehicle hit the rider and failed to stop and render aid.

As a result, the motorcyclist died in the crash and the incident led to no additional injuries.

Eventually, officers found the hit-and-run vehicle and driver by Monday.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
