The incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. on North New Braunfels Avenue near Burleson Street.

According to reports, a red truck blew out his left front tire, lost control, and collided head-on with a black SUV.

Then, firefighters freed two injured passengers of the SUV by removing its roof.

Afterward, responders took both of them to the hospital in stable condition.
