Culebra Road Auto-Pedestrian Crash Under Investigation
San Antonio, TX (May 17, 2024) On Wednesday evening, a man in his 40s died after a hit-and-run crash on Culebra Road.
According to San Antonio police, the auto-pedestrian crash happened in the 1300 block of Culebra Road, near Interstate 10 and Woodlawn Lake at about 9:30 p.m.
Reports say that an unidentified vehicle struck a male pedestrian and then fled the scene without helping the fallen man.
First responders found the man on the road and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Police are searching for the suspect driver and vehicle who remains at large.
The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department, and EMS all responded to the call.
