1 Dead in Fort Worth Auto Accident on 2100 Jacksboro Highway

FORT WORTH, TX (September 9, 2024) – Saturday night, a horrific hit-and-run crash on 2100 Jacksboro Highway killed 1 person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 9:22 p.m. in the 2100 block of Jacksboro Highway.

Initial investigations suggest that a suspect vehicle struck the victim’s car, leading to the victim being ejected from the vehicle. The driver of the suspect vehicle fled the scene before authorities arrived.

The victim was taken to a local hospital but later succumbed to their injuries. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the cause and manner of death, as well as the victim’s identity after the next of kin has been informed.
