Injury Reported in Deadly 2-Vehicle Collision on W Wapato Road
Yakima County, WA (September 5, 2024) On Monday morning, 2 people were killed while another was hurt in a 2-vehicle head-on crash on Wapato Road.
According to the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal collision happened on the 3100 block of W Wapato Road at about 10:50 a.m.
Reports say that 2 vehicles collided head-on, officials say that 2 people were declared deceased while another was injured in the crash.
Officials say that the Yakama Nation Tribal Police are investigating the crash, as the causing driver is an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation.
