YOLO COUNTY, CA (May 25, 2023) – Wednesday morning, a horrific head-on crash on Old River Road and County Road 124 killed 1 person.

The incident happened at about 6:00 a.m. on Old River Road and County Road 124.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a white pickup truck headed south and crashed head-on with a white sedan driving north.

As a result, the sedan driver succumbed to injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, responders confirmed that three pickup occupants sustained minor injuries.

Moreover, the authorities shut down Old River Road.

Also, the authorities haven’t determined whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
