AUSTIN, TX (December 31, 2023) – Saturday morning, a horrific fiery crash on 8400 Research Boulevard and Lazy Lane killed 2 people.

The incident happened just after 11:30 a.m. in the 8400 block of Research Boulevard on the southbound side near the intersection with Lazy Lane.

According to reports, a car caught fire after crashing into a support pillar under US 183.

As a result, one person was trapped inside. Also, both the driver and a passenger were declared dead at the scene.

Moreover, fire crews managed to get the fire under control within 15 minutes.
