Horrific DUI Crash on Highway 70 Kills 1 [Yuba County, CA]

1 Person Dead in Yuba County Auto Accident on Highway 70

YUBA COUNTY, CA (April 14, 2024) – Saturday morning, a horrific DUI crash on Highway 70 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 1:20 a.m. on Highway 70.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a southbound white 2015 Audi A4 collided with a red Nissan sedan. Then, the Nissan veered off the freeway, went off the ramp, and collided with multiple trees.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the 55-year-old male driver of the Nissan died in the crash.

Furthermore, officers arrested the 20-year-old female driver of the Audi on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
