1 Person Dead in Turlock DUI Accident on Fulkerth Road and Faith Home Road

TURLOCK, CA (February 26, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, a horrific DUI crash on Fulkerth Road and Faith Home Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 3:30 p.m. on Fulkerth Road and Faith Home Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an eastbound 2013 Buick sedan ran a stop sign and collided with the left side of a cattle trailer being hauled by a 2004 GMC pickup.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 21-year-old female passenger of the vehicle, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the 17-year-old driver of the vehicle to a hospital with moderate injuries.

Furthermore, officers arrested and booked the driver of the vehicle into the Juvenile Detention Facility on suspicion of felony DUI, felony gross manslaughter, and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
