1 Dead in Houston Auto Accident on Veterans Memorial Drive and Little York Road
HOUSTON, TX (November 6, 2023) – Sunday morning, a horrific car crash on Veterans Memorial Drive and Little York Road killed 1 person.
The incident involving a pickup truck and Volkswagen sedan happened at about 12:45 p.m. When police responded to the scene, they found a white pickup truck and a white Volkswagen sedan crash near the exit of Veterans Memorial Drive and Little York Road on Interstate 45 FWY.
During the investigation, one of the four passengers inside the Volkswagen was declared dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the truck driver is under investigation. Currently, officials are suspecting him of driving while intoxicated. Thus, the driver was in custody but no charges have been made.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
