2 Dead in Sonoma County Vehicle Crash on River Road and Laughlin Road

SONOMA COUNTY, CA (March 14, 2024) – Tuesday night, a horrific car accident on River Road and Laughlin Road killed 2 people.

The incident happened at about 10:52 p.m. on River Road west of Laughlin Road.

When officers arrived, they located a Chevy Trailblazer tipped on its side on the side of the road.

Then, they declared both the male driver and female passenger dead at the scene.

Reports said that the vehicle was driving east on River Road when, for unknown reasons, it veered off the road, crashed with a tree, and rolled onto its side.

Furthermore, the authorities urged anyone with information to contact the CHP at 707-588-1400.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
