1 Dead in Stockton Bicycle Accident on Highway 4 near Wilson Way
STOCKTON, CA (November 27, 2023) – Sunday night, a horrific bicycle crash on Highway 4 near Wilson Way killed 1 person.
The incident happened at about 5:30 p.m. when the bicyclist traveled in the #3 lane on eastbound Highway 4 near Wilson Way. However, a Nissan struck them.
As a result, the bicyclist died while the driver of the car remained on the scene. Furthermore, the authorities do not suspect that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
Officers clarified that the bicyclist didn’t have any lights or reflective gear on when the crash occurred.
Eastbound Highway 4 in the area was closed as authorities waited for the coroner’s office to respond.
Also, the crash shut down at least one lane on eastbound Highway 4 near Wilson Way due to the crash.
