1 Dead and 4 Injured in Placentia Auto Accident on Yorba Linda Boulevard and Valencia Avenue

PLACENTIA, CA (June 5, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a horrific 2-vehicle crash on Yorba Linda Boulevard and Valencia Avenue killed 1 person.

The incident happened at around 8:20 a.m. on Yorba Linda Boulevard and Valencia Avenue, said Sgt. Joe Connell of the Placentia Police Department

Authorities reported that a boy was found trapped inside a vehicle following a crash. Firefighters and paramedics extricated him and rushed him to a hospital, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

Another male juvenile, who was a passenger in the same vehicle, exited the vehicle on his own and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other vehicle involved in the crash contained a 39-year-old woman, a boy, and a girl, all of whom were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Placentia police are seeking any information that might help in their investigation of the crash. Thus, they urged anyone with relevant information to contact them at 714-993-8157.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
