Horrific 2-Vehicle Crash on Mariposa Road Kills 1 [Hesperia, CA]

Hesperia, CA (August 27, 2024) On Monday morning, a person was killed while another was airlifted to a hospital after a 2-vehicle crash on Mariposa Road.

According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the fatal collision happened at about 4:30 a.m. at the intersection of Mariposa Road and Ranchero Road.

Reports say that the crash involved a white 2001 Nissan Sentra and a white Ford work truck with the company name of Rising Edge.

Officials say that the eastbound Ford ran a red light and collided with the passenger side of the southbound Nissan.

Authorities declared the passenger on the Nissan dead at the scene, while another person was airlifted to a hospital.

Officials are investigating the 2-car collision and have not released additional information at this time.
