1 Person Dead in Amarillo Auto Accident near Loop 335 and Soncy Road
AMARILLO, TX (September 18, 2024) – On Tuesday, a horrific two-vehicle crash near Loop 335 and Soncy Road killed one person.
The incident happened near Loop 335 and Soncy Road.
According to the Texas Department of Safety, a semi struck a westbound SUV that failed to yield the right of way.
Authorities confirmed that one person died in the crash. Then, responders transported one person to a hospital in critical condition.
Officers withheld the identity of the deceased, pending notification to the next of kin.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
