Police Arrested Lynlee Pollis in Suspected DWI Collision on Monticello Avenue
Dallas, TX (September 28, 2023) On Sunday afternoon, 19-year-old Honor Elizabeth Wallace of Grosse Pointe, MI, died due to fatal injuries suffered in a tragic crash on Monticello Avenue.
According to the Dallas PD, the suspected DWI crash happened around 4:20 p.m. on Monticello Avenue at the North Central Expressway service road.
Reports say that 27-year-old Lynlee Pollis, driving a northbound Lexus ran a red light and struck Wallace’s eastbound Volkswagen Jetta, Wallace had the green light at the North Central Expressway service road.
Officials say that Wallace, Pollis, and a female passenger in Wallace’s Volkswagen Jetta were rushed to the hospital, however authorities say that Wallace succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, Wallace’s female passenger broke her collar bone in the crash.
Authorities say that Pollis admitted that she had a single margarita infused with tequila shots. Officials also say that Pollis admitted to have ran the red light at the intersection.
Police say that Pollis suffered minor injuries and was taken into custody and was charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.
