Fatality in San Jose Street Racing Accident
San Jose, CA (June 12, 2021) – On Thursday, a Honda Accord driver died in a street race crash on Snell Avenue.
The fatal incident took place minutes before 11 p.m. between The Woods Drive and Rosenbaum Avenue.
Authorities said a man driving a 1998 Honda Accord and a man driving a 2001 Lexus GS30 were speeding northbound on Snell Avenue.
Both of their vehicles drifted off the roadway and crashed with two separate trees.
Unfortunately, the authorities pronounced the Honda Accord driver dead at the scene.
On the other hand, the Lexus driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Moreover, the authorities said the evidence collected at the scene indicated that the vehicles were street racing.
Meanwhile, the identity of the deceased driver will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after notifying the deceased’s family.
