One Dies, Two Injured in Tulare County Three-Vehicle Crash
Tulare County, CA (August 06, 2021) – On Friday, a 21-year-old Honda driver died, while two others were injured in State Route 65 crash.
It was past 3 a.m. when the accident happened near Morton Avenue in Porterville. Investigating officers said three vehicles were involved in the fatal crash.
A box truck driver was southbound when the truck had a tire failure. The vehicle struck a guard rail and rested in the southbound lanes.
Subsequently, oncoming GMC and a Honda crashed with the truck.
Unfortunately, the unidentified Honda driver lost his life at the scene.
On the other hand, rescuers took the Honda’s 23-year-old passenger to Kaweah Health Medical Center with major injuries.
Similarly, rescuers airlifted the 23-year-old GMC male driver to Kaweah Health with major injuries.
Officers said diesel spilled from the truck as after the crash.
