Major-Injury Motorcycle Crash on Highway 115 in Holtville
HOLTVILLE, CA (March 8, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a traffic collision Friday morning in Holtville.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 6:45 a.m. on Highway 115 at Norrish Road.
A blue Yamaha motorcycle and a semi truck towing a trailer collided for unknown reasons. In addition, the impact caused major injuries to the rider.
An ambulance unit was dispatched to the scene and took the badly injured rider to a hospital. The identity and condition of the patient were not immediately available.
The motorcycle was towed away from the crash site.
No additional information was provided at this time. Authorities are still working on the incident and urging witnesses to come forward with information.
