Early Morning 2-Car Wreck on Highway 115 in Holtville, Major Injuries Sustained
HOLTVILLE, CA (November 23, 2018) – Three people were injured following a two-car crash early Friday morning in Holtville.
The crash happened around 4:16 a.m. on northbound Highway 115 at Zenos Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Honda sedan and a white Hyundai Elantra collided, causing blockage on the highway.
Paramedics responded to the scene and found three injured occupants, one of them was severely hurt from the crash. The patients were taken to El Centro Regional Medical Center for proper treatment.
The patients reportedly complained of pain to the neck and back, and sustained possible internal injuries.
Towing services were requested to remove vehicle wreckage and debris from the roadway.
It is unknown if drugs and/or alcohol have played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
