Tacoma, WA (September 6, 2023) On Sunday morning, a 27-year-old male skateboarder was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run crash on Waller Road.

According to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), the hit-and-run happened at about 2:45 a.m. on the 15700 block of Waller Road in Tacoma’s Spanaway area.

Reports say that a Ford sedan struck the skateboarder walking down Waller Road. Officials say that the Ford fled the scene after the collision.

Medics rushed the seriously injured man to the hospital, officials say that the 7-year-old man is in very critical condition and on life support.

Officials are searching for the suspect driver and vehicle who remains at large.
