Cyclist Seriously Injured after Hit-And-Run Crash on Stearns Street and Los Angeles Avenue

Simi Valley, CA (January 5, 2024) – On Thursday night, a bicycle rider sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash on  Stearns Street.

The Simi Valley Police Department reported the incident around 7:50 p.m. near Stearns Street and Los Angeles Avenue. 

Heading northbound across Los Angeles Avenue west of Stearns, a Simi Valley woman on her bike suffered a strike from an eastbound car, according to police officials.

A witness identified the car as a late 1990s or early 2000s gold Toyota sedan, which likely sustained significant damage to its front or right side, police officials noted.
