Police are Searching for Judy Gail Smith After Hit-And-Run Crash on State Route 303 in Kitsap County

Kitsap County, WA (September 30, 2024) – Kitsap County deputies are searching for 69-year-old Judy Gail Smith, after a hit-and-run crash on State Route 303. 

Smith was accused of hitting a 64-year-old woman with her car and fleeing the scene. 

The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Happy Laundry laundromat off State Route 303 in Bremerton. 

After briefly stopping, Smith allegedly sped off without checking on the injured woman.

The victim, who was visiting her son, sustained significant but non-life-threatening injuries. 

Authorities identified the vehicle involved as a silver 2007 Chevrolet Uplander, which was later found abandoned at a residence on Normandy Drive in Bremerton. 

However, Smith remains at large.

A $20,000 warrant has been issued for Smith’s arrest, and anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact 911.
