Police Search for Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on Seco Canyon Road in Saugus

Saugus, CA (September 21, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, an 11-year-old child was hurt after a hit-and-run crash on Seco Canyon Road.

The crash on Seco Canyon Road in Saugus happened at around 2:10 p.m. on September 20. 

The family provided a video of the incident which showed a truck colliding with the child’s bicycle and taking off. The boy ran to his nearby home.

The boy’s mom, Ariss and her family are now pleading for the public’s help in identifying the truck driver who struck her son.

“My son is a child with special needs and is traumatized from this horrific incident. I’m asking for the public and my community that I was born and raised in to help me find this coward. I want justice for my son and I want him to feel safe riding his bike in our town. Please help us find him/her,” Ariss said.
